The minute you start lifting an IFS front end, you better keep a close eye on the CV boots!
OEM CV boot bands work fine at stock ride height but after being in that position for 8-10 years, they are exposed to a great deal of new stress from the increased angles a lift produces. OEM bands can not be tightened so if grease is starting to seep past the boot, it is only a matter of time before you will experience a CV joint failure. This is definitely a case where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Once the joint fails you are looking at a $400-650 repair. The best solution is to replace the worn and tired clamps with bands that are strong, durable, safe to use on the soft rubber of the CV boot and adjustable. McMaster-Carr bands made for soft rubber are the best possible clamps for this application.

After finally putting a lift on my GX470, I got the expected leaking of grease from one of my CV boots. Being that I visit IH8MUD on a very regular basis, I knew exactly what I needed and where I needed to go to get it: PFRAN! My order was processed very quickly and came in the mail within a week. The new clamp works perfectly and the repair was fast and easy. Thank you!

Got them fast and they look great. Install to come but I know from reputation that PFRAN has sources the best CV clamps for the 100.

Just installed these a couple hours ago. The hardest part was getting the band to stay in the damned tightener when it was wrapped around the axle. Fits perfectly on the boot. Shipping was decently fast. Less than a week.

Even with a diff-drop installed, my new 2.5" lift caused some boot leaking on my 03 Cruiser, so I picked these clamps up. Admittedly,I was also in a time crunch, heading out on a 4.5 hr highway drive for the weekend so I put these clamps OVER the OEM clamps and after the trip (10 hrs at high speed, plus another 3hrs around town) there was ZERO grease leaking. I will ride this out for a bit and replace swap clamps in a few weeks.

I ordered the CV hose clamps for rebuilding the front axles on my 100 series Landcruiser. They were very easy to install and so far no leaks. Very easy to work with and was willing to replace one of the clamps that got damaged in transit without any issue.
Thanks!

Great product, fast shipper....
Easier and cheaper replacing just the clamp, rather than the whole axle...
Will definitely buy from you again.

Fast shipping, thanks! Got them on the west coast within a couple days. Nice to have the correct6 size clamps already collected rather than guessing.
Put the clamps on a week ago - so far so good. Much easier to get tight than oem strapping or similar. And the rolled edges seem easy on the rubber boot.
Easy to install - I spent twice as much time cleaning up the old grease than I did putting these on.
